We’re depressed to say that Flight of the Conchords will not be returning for a third season.
The wonderfully quirky Flight of the Conchords is a comedy on HBO that follows a fictionalized version of the real life folk duo band, Flight of the Conchords. In the fictionalized version, Jermaine Clement and Bret McKenzie play fictionalized versions of themselves.
Jermaine and Bret move from New Zealand to try to make it as a band in New York City. They hire Murray (Rhys Darby) as their incompetent, but lovable manager, whose full time job is at the New Zeland consulate. They have one fan, Mel (Kristen Schaal) who’s unbelievably obsessed with them and one friend, Dave (Arj Barker).
