Throughout the world, myths about redheads permeate every culture, with the most common being that those with fire-hued hair are crazy.

We here at TV Fanatic are rewriting that myth, effective right now. Redheads are crazy hot.

From drama to comedy, some of our favorite characters proudly rock their red hair and steal our hearts in the process. Behold, TV's hottest redheads!

Jayma Mays Promo Picture

Fun fact: Red hair is a result of a single genetic mutation, which means gingers are basically superheroes. Someone put Jensen Ackles in a cape and tights, STAT! (He totes has a red beard, guys. THAT COUNTS!)

Making up just 1-4% of the world's population, perhaps the on-screen number of redheads is in line with their real-world representation. But we don't care. MORE REDHEADS, PLEASE AND THANKS!

Those who made it into this gallery of redheads of the fictional world are proving that they're worthy of our biggest TV crushes. They're funny and flawless on screen (and probably off).

Now it's your turn, TV Fanatics! Who wins your vote for TV's hottest redhead? Sound off in the comments below!

Bad Judge Season 1 Episode 6 follows Rebecca as she comes to blows with a woman she hates, from her time in law school. Read on for the full review!

After hitting a creative high last week, Bad Judge hit a lull this week.

On Bad Judge Season 1 Episode 6 Rebecca butted heads with a woman she went to law school with.

I'm edging closer and closer to giving up on the show. After enjoying the improved episode last week, I hated this episode.

NBC has already pulled the plug on Bad Judge, but will apparently air all of the ordered episodes.

Rebecca's antics this week made me question why she is still employed. I know the title of the show is Bad Judge but I'd say she's more stupid than bad.

The stuff with her boss calling her a good judge to conclude the episode was rubbish. As if anyone would actually comment on her doing a good job.

The case this week was absurd to say the least. Basically, the accused exposed himself to others and got away with it. Yeah, I don't see that happening.

It's so disheartening that last week seemed like a major turning point for the show. The show is just not consistent and I can see why people have ditched it.

Tedward is a bright spot on the show, his friendship with the judge is excellent. They are both so close to each other. I enjoyed the scene in which they both got dressed up and no one else did.

Rebecca: Who runs Barter town?

Tedward: That’s the wrong movie, that’s from Mad Max.

🔗 permalink: That’s the wrong movie, that’s from Mad Max.

Ryan Hansen was barely present tonight. It's a bit stupid billing him as a lead character and then under utilizing him. He is one of the best parts of the show. I don't understand why they have ditched the storyline with him and the judge sleeping together.

The writers should have sat down and mapped the journey of all the characters for the season beforehand.

I do understand with this being a comedy series that it could be airing episodes out of order, but that doesn't help the journey the rest of us must take if we continue to watch.

There were some funny scenes, I liked seeing Dana get arrested from the court. There is obviously a rivalry between both characters.

Rebecca: Actually Dana, if you were doing your job you would have known your client was lying.

🔗 permalink: Actually Dana, if you were doing your job you would have known your client was lying.

All things considered, this was not one of the series best episodes. Not by a mile. I'm not expecting the show to improve again. It took five episodes to become worth watching and one episode to ruin the momentum it gained. Maybe we'll have a good series finale, but I won't be holding my breath.

Rebecca is assigned to a case which features a woman she hated from law school on it. The woman appears to be semi nice on the outside, but makes continuous inappropriate comments to her. She is defending a man who exposed himself to a group of women. He has a tattoo on his back side and he exposed it. The women are offended by this. Rebecca ends up throwing the case out. The woman from law school, Dana makes a rude comment about Rebecca finally doing her job right. Rebecca decides she's had enough of her and assigns Tedward to arrest her. Rebecca's boss comments that she was a good judge for this case.

Rebecca lets Tedward down and has to make it up to him. The two of them go to party in favor of one of Tedward's favorite movies. They both get dressed up as Tedward says that they are meant to. When they arrive they are shocked to find out that dressing up was optional. Rebecca takes him to the bar to make up for everything. She buys him birthday cake vodka, but complains that he can only have it with cream on top. They both have the shot.

NBC has pulled the plug on A to Z and Bad Judge. Both will finish off their 13 episode orders.

A to Z won't ever get to the end of the alphabet.

On Halloween evening, NBC made the decision to end the struggling freshman series, which stars How I Met Your Mother's Cristin Milioti and Mad Men's Ben Feldman.

(John Fleenor/NBC)

The series focused on a young couple, Andrew and Zelda (A to Z, get it?), the "couple that almost wasn't," and intended to follow their romantic journey from beginning to end. Unfortunately, they've become that couple that won't.

It was just a week ago that ABC took down the first series of fall 2014 when its canceled Manhattan Love Story, so it's not a surprise that NBC decided to follow suit by making their first cut by trying to slip in under the radar while people are off enjoying themselves on this otherwise festive Friday.

UPDATE: NBC also axed Kate Walsh's Bad Judge. Both it and A to Z garnered sub-1.0 ratings among 18-49-year olds in their most recent showings.

Both will finish off their 13-episode orders before going off the air.

Well that was a massive improvement.

After three disappointing episodes, Bad Judge Season 1 Episode 5 came out of nowhere and really proved to me that the show is a comedy worth watching.

Kate Walsh is excellent in her role. This is the first time she's appeared really comfortable — althought it may be down to the jokes actually being funny!

It was a very interesting development to have Rebecca on jury duty. She just assumed she would wriggle out of it and not be picked as she knew the judge. Wrong, there was a new judge in town!

Rebecca: You’re not Annie.

Judge: Not since my fifth grade play.

🔗 permalink: Not since my fifth grade play.

The character of Rebecca is highly entertaining to watch. I don't know what goes through this crazy lady's mind, but she is hilarious. The scene in which she was attempting to imply she was sick is an excellent example of this. She took this a bit far, when she pulled out a jar of pickles.

Rebecca had an enemy on the jury, but did anyone struggle to understand what his name was? I found myself having to rewind and fast forward to find out! It was practically inaudible! It seems like he is called Chad.

Chad: Alright, hooker skirt, you won.

🔗 permalink: Alright, hooker skirt, you won.

The dialog between the two characters was extremely witty. He quickly succeeded in getting the rest of the jury on his side. Who knew that something as simple as pizza could make them favor Rebecca?

Rebecca: I’m as serious as your mom’s coke addiction.

🔗 permalink: I’m as serious as your mom’s coke addiction.

Garry has appeared in two episodes — back to back! I don't know if Ryan Hansen had a scheduling conflict for the first few weeks, but his presence is a welcome one. However, I don't feel as though the show needs him to carry it anymore. Even the supporting characters, such as Judith, really upped the levels of funny this week.

Tedward was not best pleased to learn of Rebecca's jury duty, as it meant he had to compete in a bar game competition with Garry. Garry, after initially declining, decided to give it a shot, and the results were lese than positive — at first.

It was a bit obvious they would win. It had to happen for the development of the two characters. Tedward has gone from being a horrible character to a joy to watch on screen.

Through five episodes, I feel like Bad Judge has finally found its feet, and is shaping up to be one of the best new comedies on the air just now. I think this has happened a bit late in its run as its ratings have slipped the past few weeks. I think the show's chances of a back order are slim to none. After this episode, I hope I'm wrong and the show can defy the odds. It now deserves a chance.

Remember you can watch Bad Judge online, right here on TV Fanatic, watch now if you want to relive any of the laughs!

Rebecca is summoned for jury duty, which means she can no longer help Tedward win a bar games competition to Tom and Judith. She makes an enemy in the jury, as Chad makes it his personal mission to ridicule every comment she makes.

Initially, rushing through the case, Rebecca realizes that the jury are making the wrong choice and sets out to prove her point that the man is innocent.  She is in a power struggle for the votes with Chad, but she gains the upper hand, by buying the jurors pizza and by making Chad appear stupid. He wouldn't stop bugging her about breaking rules, until she informs him that his mothers coke addiction was a breach of rules.

Tedward must find someone else to help him in the bar games competition. Rebecca suggests Garry, but Tedward declines. He tries to make friends with Garry, but it just leads to several awkward encounters. In the end, he must choose Garry. Garry says no to helping him, but eventually changes his mind. The two teams are neck and neck for the bulk of the bar games. In a tie breaker competition, Tedward and Garry emerge victorious, wiping the smile off Tom's face.

On Bad Judge, Tedward insists that Rebecca purchase a gun when a convict she put away is released. Read the review to find out if she does.

The post Bad Judge Season 1 Episode 4 Review: Knife to a Gunfight appeared first on TV Fanatic.

]]>
It's not saying much, but Bad Judge Season 1 Episode 4 was a definite improvement over the last two episodes, and maybe even the best of the bunch so far. I even found myself laughing out loud a couple of times during the episode.

It was refreshing to see Rebecca so passionate about helping the defendant, Charlie, who really didn't deserve a maximum prison sentence for his petty theft charges. He was clearly suffering from a mental illness and needed psychiatric help, which in the end he receives.

Charlie's case served as a perfect excuse for Gary to return this week. Ryan Hansen makes everything he's in better by default.

Even though this episode was better, that doesn't mean it was without its faults.

The episode really tried to push the idea that Rebecca could be in serious danger yet instead we get two misdirections.

The first one turned out to be Judge Hernandez returning from vacation and creeping up on Rebecca in the parking lot dressed in all black and sounding all menacing. It was the middle of the day, even if he was a criminal, would the black clothing really be necessary?

The second one was the actual ex-convict that they were worried about showing up at the courthouse to confront Rebecca. Except he wasn't there to hurt her (if he was, doing it at the courthouse, again in the middle of the day, was probably not the smartest decision), but instead there to thank her.

You would think since Tayward is a cop, he would be better trained to assess a situation. Did she honestly look like she was in danger while looking at pictures on Byron's phone? Watching him tackle Judge Hernandez and taze Byron was more cartoon-ish than funny.

This leads me back to the perceived threat. Was there an explanation for the note Rebecca found on her car? If there was, I missed it.

I wonder if there's a record for the most pop culture references crammed into twenty-two minutes. If there is, I think Bad Judge may have broken it. Between references to the Bodyguard, the OJ Simpson trial, Law and Order, a Few Good Men, Duck Dynasty, and the Matrix I lost count. The Bodyguard one was pretty cheesy, but it did give us one of the better lines of the night:

Rebecca: Are you saying you want to be the black Kevin Costner to my white Whitney Houston?

🔗 permalink: Are you saying you want to be the black Kevin Costner to my white Whitney Houston?

In the end, Rebecca decides against buying a gun with the reasoning that if she's ever wrong about someone the way Tayward was, she doesn't want to be wrong holding a gun. That makes sense until she pulls out the crossbow. In an episode full of pop-culture references, how did they go for Duck Dynasty over the Walking Dead in that scene? I see a crossbow and I think Daryl, or possibly Buffy if we're going old school.

We're now four episodes into the series and that tends to be when most people decide if they're in for the long haul or cancelling their season pass. Where do you guys stand?

Your regular reviewer, Paul Dailly, will be back next week for those of you who decide to stick with it. Until then, you can watch Bad Judge online and visit the Bad Judge quotes page for your favorite lines.
