On the Haven Series Finale, there are returns, deaths and the end of the Troubles. But to whom belongs what? To find out, read our review.

Now and Forever.

Those were literally the titles of Haven Season 5 Episode 25 and Haven Season 5 Episode 26, and while they weren't exactly the best the series had to offer, they weren't the worst, either, and provided a rather fitting conclusion to the show.

The Series Finale - Haven
(Mike Tompkins/Haven 5 Productions/Syfy)

The first hour started to drag a bit, and to be honest, Duke's death was welcome. It was unnecessary for him to return in the final hour, but as he was a central character and once had a lot of purpose, it made sense to give him some good final moments rather than the Croatoan arc he had to suffer through to die.

As expected, Duke died a hero.

As Croatoan's pawn, he was rather insufferable, so it was a good save getting him back. Begging to have his life taken so Croatoan couldn't have the Troubles was, as noted, heroic. It also made Nathan a killer, but I suppose if Duke had to die, it made sense that someone else should pay the price as well.

The death scene itself was really well done. It wasn't quick and painless for any involved, and that's the mark of a death well done in my book. He struggled to die, looking into Audrey's eyes, and true to the prophecy, the last thing he saw was Nathan's Guard tattoo. Little tie-ins like that mean a lot to long time viewers.

Dwight was struggling with the reality of his daughter, Lizzie. She was about as real as she could get, even recalling a game they played with cookies and why they played it.

To his credit, he was willing to let her go for the greater good, as hard as that would have been, knowing fully well she was a creation and nothing more. Yet Dead Duke's return was as some sort of Christmas spirit (seriously, I don't know understand Dead Duke's true point), and essentially he said if Dwight really believed Lizzie was his daughter, she would remain even after all other things Troubled disappeared for good. He was right.

Croatoan tried trickery (duh) to turn the tide in his favor many times, but in the end, he had to give into the fact that good outweighed evil. Imagine William Shatner shaking his fist at the sky and saying dagnabbit; that's all that was really missing from his portrayal.

He forced Nathan out of town with Fauxdrey, but both players in that charade knew something was amiss and returned. That was probably Emily Rose's best performance in a long time, as Fauxdrey. She always did better as a character with a little spirit in her, something Audrey lost when Mara disappeared.

Vince as the controller didn't have victory without Croatoan, and apparently both of them were needed to fully power the Barn in the end. Well, no, three of them, including Audrey, were needed to get the whole thing off the ground and for it to implode, but somehow, a month after the fact, Audrey was able to be sent back to start over again.

Despite how confusing that is, since she was supposed to leave forever more never to return in order for the whole thing to work, I'm rolling with it. PANCAKES! Baby James. Was it their baby? Who knows? Brokedown Paige was most certainly Audrey, and apparently Croatoan and Vince will spend eternity in the Barn watching over Haven.

The End.

I'm sure if I took the time to poke around, there would be a lot of loose ends, but why would I do that at this point in the game? Everyone who has been a player for the last season got an ending. Even Jennifer got a mention, as Duke was given a burial at sea with her. Laverne made her first physical appearance on the finale.

There was a sweet (if ridiculously short) montage of Nathan and Audrey scenes when he came back through the fog and remembered the real Audrey again. Given the rich history of the show, there could have been more cameos, but Jason Priestly appeared, so high five, brotha!

I'll likely give the earlier seasons another couple of watches as the years go by. The theme song remains one of my all time favorites and still makes me happy to hear it. Haven may have petered out at the end, but I have no regrets spending my time with the folks in this small town. They became like a little weird family.

What did you think of the finale? If you missed either of the hours, you can watch Haven online right here via TV Fanatic. Thanks for riding along with me!

On Haven Season 5 Episode 26, Audrey comes to a terrifying decision while Nathan struggles to return to Haven and Dwight considers his future in the series finale.

Nathan and Fauxdrey don't remember anything about why or where they are, but she knows everything about him and them. He can't really argue with it.

Audrey goes through an argument with Croatoan wherein Vince fails to create a new Barn and she decides to make him aether weapons to get vengeance on whoever sent him into the void as long as he promises to leave everyone else alone.

Nathan and Fauxdrey go to the fog. She realizes she's not Audrey. She remembers she was supposed to be her, though, and that Nathan senses she's not really her.

When they walk back through it's time for a montage of all things Haven, albeit a very short one, leading up to what happened with Croatoan. Then Fauxdrey disappears.

Dwight is there. And Duke, But only Dwight can see him. He's a ghost, not talking, only thinking through the air. Whatever.

Croatoan seems to kill Nathan. Then Audrey slowly asks him if he would give his life for her.

Croatoan is moved enough that he brings Nathan back to life after stopping Audrey in midair.

Then he wakes her up.

Croatoan decides to be magnanimous and leave with the Troubles and the aether.

Dead Duke tells Dwight to believe and he can keep Lizzie.

Audrey and Nathan say goodbye. She's going to leave to so the Troubled can live and the cycle will stop. There will not be a happy ending. She wants him to find someone who will make him happy so he can move on.

He'll thing about her for every minute of every hour and that's how he'll be happy.

All the Troubles get taken from the Troubled and sucked into the void in the sky. Jason Priestly even makes a little cameo as his Trouble is sucked out of him. Dwight's daughter disappears before his eyes, but comes back…he believes. Vince, Audrey and Croatoan disappear and so does the void.

Laverne makes her first live appearance on the finale.

Gloria is looking for Nathan. It's about the Troubles. The DNA marker is gone. It's not coming back. Vicky gives him a drawing of Audrey. IN the old days that would bring her alive.

On his way out of town to go fishing with Dwight, Nathan runs into Brokedown Paige and her baby son, James. She's not Audrey, but she's Audrey. Vince and Croatoan confirm it.

Oh God. Duke is walking around blathering with his horrid monotone voice. It's utterly terrible. Horrible. Awful. Teeth grittingly, mind bendingly, turn the telly off, dicktastic.

Duke wonders what Lizzie is, but he knows it's not his daughter. Vince thinks it's probably an aether creature.

Whatever, the plan Croatoan had to make everyone happy doesn't appear to be an all out win.

They're all talking too slow. Only Shatner is speaking at an appropriate speed. Why is that?

OK. Dwight is talking at normal speed, too. He's acting normal. He can stay. When he's talking to Duke, all I want it for him to reach out and punch Duke in the face. Duke, however, wants the controller. Very slowly, apparently. God, he's embarrassing.

Dwight tests Lizzie. She passes the cookie test, bringing out her favorite and least favorite on a plate arranged like a cookie.

Duke comes back when Audrey talks slowly to him. He just wants to be a pirate again.

Dwight can't really let his lookalike daughter go because she's essentially his daughter.

Duke wants to be killed so Croatoan can't get the Troubles he has inside him. They start escaping from his eyeballs. Nathan kills him while he looks on with wild eyes into Audrey's face, not struggling, but not really happy to be dying, either.

Everyone looks on and cries. I called it that he would die a hero. The last thing he sees is the tattoo on Nathan's arm. The prophecy came true.

The aether core is destroyed and there is no way to build a new Barn or end the Troubles.

Gloria wants to give Duke a proper burial at sea with Jennifer.

Croatoan gives Dwight an ultimatum. The crystal or Lizzie.

Nathan is meeting with Croatoan. We have no idea what was said, but Croatoan tells Audrey Nathan chose faux-Audrey. Don't think so. Now Daddy Dearest wants to start their work with an aether cloud. WTF is it?

On Haven Season 5 Episode 24, Audrey and her father have a heart to heart conversation while Nathan tries to save Duke. Find out how it goes in our review!

So this is what happens when all of the money is shifted away from a science fiction show.

Things have been slow before on this series, but Haven Season 5 Episode 24 was in a class by itself. With 15 minutes left to go, I was shaking my clock, sure it, as well as all others in the house, had stopped. Surely I had found myself smack dab inside a Trouble, right?

Alright, alright. I'm whining, but "The Widening Gyre" was boring as hell.

Rescuing Audrey - Haven
(SyFy)

To be honest, I'm not even sure what was happening and didn't really care. I guess Croatoan and Audrey were inside the Void, but accessible to Duke…where the hell was the dollhouse like place? Meh. Doesn't matter.

What could have been a really amazing conversation between William "Croatoan or Dad" Shatner and Audrey "my Daughter" Parker turned into an almost hour long snooze fest wherein they rehashed the same content by phrasing it differently, and somehow more slowly (who knew that was possible?) than five minutes earlier.

There was a little bit of information that was pertinent. Mara liked coffee when she was a little girl, black. Oh, no, that's not it. She was dying of something, and dear old dad saved her by infusing her blood with aether from the blood.

That was the experimenting he was doing that was so terrible and created Mara as the special being she was (spawning Audrey, etc.). Puts a whole new spin on whether or not he's a nasty guy for pulling the stuff out of the void and experimenting with it, and one has to wonder why Charlotte left that out of her stories.

Or, perhaps The Shatner is lying. We'll probably never know, because we have one two-hour long episode (or, one block of two episodes) left, and it's all over.

Duke's neck bent, side glancing bad guy shtick was a little much. I'm assuming the split second "real Duke" whine was fake to mess with Nathan, and Duke really did fall into the darkness. I think. I don't even think I care. They've screwed with Duke so much this season that I don't even recognize him.

Remember when Duke was with Jennifer, and things were going really well for him? Heck, even Audrey used to have a multi-faceted personality. Now she's drab Audrey without any fiery Mara. Nathan? He's lost and fighting for everyone he loves, but nobody he loves is the same person they were a year ago, poor bastard.

The final few minutes confused me, too. I thought it would be as simple as Shatner releasing Audrey to a world he had mucked with and she'd be interfering in it. That's how he made it sound. She'd walk out there (I still don't know if she was in a real or imagined house) and everyone would be living their ideal happy lives.

Well, that's a no on that idea for Nathan and Vince, the latter who sacrificed himself right on schedule, apparently, to become the new Barn controller. Dwight found his daughter, but what are the odds it's really her? These people aren't idiots. They've grown skeptical. Would Dwight really scoop up a replica in his arms to protect forevermore? Well, maybe, but he'd know what he was doing.

Sigh.

We know why the Troubles were created, and we know who killed The Colorado Kid. Hopefully the remaining two hours of Haven will be infinitely more satisfying than the horrifying season finale of Scream Queens, which made me want to jam a stiletto in my eye.

Anyone else as saddened by the more recent episodes of Haven as I am? It's all come down to THIS? See you next time for one final swan song, you guys. Until then…you can always watch Haven online, at least we'll always have the past!!

Has Adam Copeland always used his name with "WWE Superstar Edge" as part of it? I don't recall that being the case, but WWE Superstar Christian is guest starring, so perhaps that's why. Something tells me that doesn't bring in the guys in droves regardless.

William Shatner has Audrey hidden in what appears to be a mystical dollhouse.

He's blabbering about when she was a child, what she liked. Coffee and things. It's unclear whether or not he knows she's Audrey and not Mara. Just as I wonder that, Audrey taunts him with Mara's death. He knows that. He still wants her back.

Howard's back and chatting with Vince. Everything from the other place will be sucked back, including Croatoan. Audrey? Howard was compromised and can no longer serve as the Barn's controller.

Dwight and Nathan talk about Duke. He's probably lost forever.

Croatoan said he had to kill Charlotte or it could have been terrible for them both. James, too, or else Lucy might have and she would have been sent home. He couldn't let that happen.

Nathan tries to reach Duke. Duke makes odd looks at Nathan from across the table.

Howard can't seem to remember his real family, from when he was a man, and if he doesn't have the personal connection, he can't operate a new Barn.

Audrey and Croatoan chat. She stabs him in the throat and he breaks her arm. Regular father and daughter chitchat.

Shatner heals Audrey's arm because he's learned to master the Troubles, or Gifts, as he calls them. It's not the first time he's healed her, either, as he saved her life when she was a little girl. It's time he tells her the full story.

Meanwhile, Nathan wants to use a Trouble to do something with Duke. Whatever.

Boring.

Vince is going to wind up being the new Barn controller.

Shatner tells Audrey he was using aether to save Audrey because she was dying. He introduced it into her bloodstream. All that she is, the miracle that she's become, is all thanks to him.

Duke is fighting the stuff.

Vince is fighting to be the thing.

More stuff.

There are still over 15 minutes to go and it feels like I've been watching for an eternity. God help us all.

On Haven Season 5 Episode 23 after a very, very, very long wait, Croatoan finally makes his appearance after commandeering Duke. Was it worth the wait?

The post Haven Season 5 Episode 23 Review: Blind Spot appeared first on TV Fanatic.

First things first. RIP Dave. Sorry after all these years together I missed your dying breath. Was it really necessary to take it on a big US holiday? Sheesh, brother.

That said, Haven Season 5 Episode 23 wasn't that great of a follow up to Dave's demise.

Howard returned for what may have been the last time (or maybe not), Duke embraced his inner darkness (again) and Croatoan (we sometimes call him William Shatner) stepped out of the shadows.

Willam Shatner on Haven
(Haven 5 Productions/Syfy)

Let's be honest, Duke probably embraced his dark side because it's easier to imagine Eric Balfour killing people and putting Audrey into a strangle hold than it is William Shatner as Croatoan.

Who's with me on that?!

Shatner is not scary. He's cool and funny. He has great quips. When Haven Season 5 Episode 24 really shows him in action, I'm expecting a lot of good Haven quotes, something that have been missing as of late. With the loss of the dual acting Teagues, those quotes will be harder to come by, so Audrey's daddy better be up for the task.

There was a veryshort period of time in which Duke and Nathan acted kind of like they did when they were frenemies, often at each others throats and yet unable to let go of the relationship they shared since boyhood.

Duke: You know, if you had told me a few years ago that my bar was going to get thrashed by a Trouble that creates sea monsters, I…now it just sounds like Tuesday.

🔗 permalink: You know, if you had told me a few years ago that my bar was going to get thrashed by a…

Apparently that was enough to push Duke right into Croatoan's hands. Or something. Oh well, certainly we'll learn more about Duke's intentions as we learn more about dear old dad's.

Probably more exciting was seeing Howard again.

I've been wondering exactly how they were going to build a Barn using a crystal and Audrey's pensive attitude, because it seemed to be going nowhere.

Holla at Howard, why dontcha?! I didn't see that coming, did you? Nice callback to the early days. I had kind of forgotten all about him. Those were good times, when everyone was still trying to determine who and what Audrey really was.

Who would have guessed it was as easy as changing the zoning on an already constructed building? HA! How very real estate savvy of everyone. The police station would become the Barn, but wouldn't really alter anything or even destroy Laverne, who was currently inhabiting it via a Trouble.

They thought of everything.

But that's about all there was. Duke ruined the aether core with some sort of acid touch, because the dirty devil was using Troubles left and right. Who knows what he hell he was using while he was busy walking through walls and killing people while Laverne wasn't looking.

I'm looking forward to moving on to the next step in this process. It's time. Croatoan has stepped forth. Let's get this party started.

If y'all have anything to say, spill it in the comments. If not, same time, same place. You know how this works.

Everyone is preparing for Croatoan to come for Audrey.

Nobody knows who or what he is. At least when they knew it was Dave, they knew what it was.

Audrey isn't making much headway on the new Barn.

Duke and Nathan used to think the Troubles were just things that their fathers made up to keep them in line. If they had known then what they know now…nothing probably would have changed.

Vince thinks everyone is whispering about him not knowing his own brother was Croatoan and someone gets killed. Suddenly a chair "attacks" Audrey and she's locked inside an office.

Security cameras start going on and off, playing games with the three guys. Is it a Trouble? Yep, someone named Laverne is seeing things through cameras that aren't even hooked up. Wow.

Exciting. Nathan and Audrey summon Audrey. HE'S the controller. He can build a Barn anywhere, but not for Audrey. He needs proper authorization, however. Audrey is an overlay personality and he cannot take orders from her. He disappears. Hmmmm.

Duke goes missing and when Audrey and Nathan find him, they also find a pool of blood.

Howard is summoned again, and Nathan and Audrey try to explain to him what Charlotte did to make Audrey whole. Audrey convinces Howard and and he picks up the ether ball. The Barn will take the shape of the police station and Laverne will survive. Howard disappears from the room and reappears again in the middle of another room.

The core damaged Howard and he disappeared. Duke lied about being able to use his Trouble more than once. Croatoan is controlling Duke. Duke destroyed the aether core by touching it with an acid touch.

Duke walks into the room and is all Troubly.Laverne has put Audrey into the Chief's office. Audrey tries to reason with Laverne to let her out to reason with Croatoan or something. It's confusing. Duke is talking about Mara being a real beast in the sheets and it's no wonder Audrey chose Nathan.

For some reason Audrey thinks she can stop Duke. Instead Duke escapes with Audrey.

Duke doesn't want to be fixed. Or some garbage. He doesn't want to stop. He wants to be Croatoan. He chose his destiny. He's diggin' it. La la la la la.

Nobody said building a new Barn was going to be easy.

Any Barn building that includes a trip into the freakin' void is going to come with some problems, and on Haven Season 5 Episode 21 there were plenty of to be had.

Finding the controller, which I thought would be the hardest part, turned out to be a cinch. Go figure.

The Void - Haven
(Mike Tompkins/Syfy)

Duke is really getting on my nerves. What's with his attitude? Audrey was angry (rightfully so) that he walked out on them when they needed him most. Duke? He was angry that they needed him. What the hell?

Then he was angry they were using Hayley, annoying, bank robbing Hayley, to help them get a piece to build the Barn, which would fix everything that HE UNLEASHED UPON HAVEN IN THE FIRST PLACE. One second, he's a sad sack who admits he left town because of what he did and that he couldn't have done anything to help, and the next he's unwilling to help fix the madness.

It makes zero sense, especially given the history of the character.

What made even less sense is that instead of using his noggin and telling Lisa with the explosion Trouble there was a plan in motion to possibly put an end to her misery so, hey, you really don't need to kill us right now, he was talking aimlessly about nothing while she was seconds away from blowing the house up.

Argh!!!

To top it off, Duke had a vision Nathan didn't come out of the void and Haven disintegrated after his absence because Croatoan won. Nathan said, "Then you're just going to have to make sure I come back." What did Duke do while Nathan was in the void? NOTHING.

Why was he in the house moping when he should have been keeping Hayley on track so she didn't become the loser she became in the meantime? He knew she was a loose cannon. Duke had one job and he failed. Nathan is inside the void, where humans have limited time, inside a collapsed cave with his BFF William. Sheesh.

It was good to see William again, and without him, there is no way in the world Nathan would have found the controller, so he was a necessary evil. Unfortunately, the controller was being guarded by a…what the hell was it being guarded by? Half the females wherever Audrey comes from don't look like her, I assume, so that must have been a Barn specific being or hologram. Interesting.

Not-Audrey mucked things up because by asking her question, she kind of tricked Nathan into talking about Mara in the past tense. He was doing so well until then! It was almost hard to remember when there were two gals running around, but the references to the two of them were plentiful on "Close to Home." If not for their argument, Nathan would have made it back.

SPOILER ALERT! Did you catch the preview? Hayley is in trouble. She apparently gets a little too cocky and doesn't make it the entire way through a wrought iron fence. I'm pretty sure Duke said that's how her mom died, so I don't see how she will make it out of that one. Hopefully she'll open a thinnie right there and Nathan will find it. Although I don't see how that will work given he's in a cave.

How can they get her out of the fence if she can't move? Guess we'll find out.

Meanwhile, Croatoan is just wrecking Dave's life. If they make any attempt at all to free Dave from his evil grasp, he kills someone. He seems to come just short of killing Vince, but it seems unlikely Vince would have an easy time killing Dave, even if he's willing to stop Croatoan.

Right now it doesn't feel like the Croatoan and Barn storylines are connected, but they will intersect at some point. They just seem to be running parallel. I assume the Barn would cut Croatoan's hold on Dave.

Well, that's all I have. Haven WILL be on next Thursday, but I will not be reviewing it because, well, Thanksgiving. A girl's gotta stuff her face with turkey and all the trimmings, ya know? I sure hope it's not a super duper episode, but if it is, I'll try to chat about it in the next review.

On Haven Season 5 Episode 20 we not only find out who killed the Colorado Kid, but why Duke's story outside of town is relevant. Hallelujah!

Dave really did kill the Colorado Kid.

Well, at least Dave's body did, thanks to a temporary thinnie, the very thing we learned on Haven Season 5 Episode 20 is needed to save Haven in the present.

"Just Passing Through" was a really great hour that revisited the heart of Haven, including the mystery that got the entire thing started.

1983 - Haven
(Mike Tompkins/Syfy)

It's always a pleasure seeing Emily Rose playing one of the other characters who has come through the Barn, and this was no exception.

It feels like it has been so long since we have touched base with Lucy and the Colorado Kid. Did we know Garland Wuornos had a thing with Lucy? For some reason, that came as a surprise to me. It probably shouldn't have, as the character, in all of her lives, seemed to know exactly the right people to hang with to help her with the Troubles.

Garland would be just as obvious as Nathan. However, the Sheriff must have been very careful not to allow her to cross into his personal life, or surely Nathan would have remembered Lucy much differently when he met her as Audrey as an adult.

I'm glad that Garland looked into Butterworth's credentials. It proved he was good at his job. While it made sense he might not have recognized his boy as an adult, it also made sense that Vince couldn't pull the wool over Dave's eyes. It's too bad Vince had to allow his brother to go through the trauma of being inhabited by Croatoan and then killing the Colorado Kid.

It really was devastating watching that entire scene play out, especially Nathan and Lucy standing in the brush across the beach, unable to do anything lest the entire future be changed. Kudos to them both for understanding enough about their situation that they could sit back and watch their son's life be taken in front of them.

It's bittersweet, a real answer to who killed the Colorado Kid. That beach, the Colorado Kid…it started it all. It was the big mystery that went unsolved and around which everything else was hanging for so long. It was Stephen King's book. And now that it's solved, it really feels like we're heading toward the end. Which we are, indeed, doing.

Heck, even Duke's storyline FINALLY has a purpose. Did we need all of the men in black infiltrating his motel room? Was it just a little over the top? Yes, yes it was. But there was a purpose!

Congrats on the little photographer kid, who grew up to be kinda cute. And to have a successful business thanks to his desire to follow Duke. Hopefully, when the shroud lifts, that won't go away. To think, it was all so Nathan could have his SOS letter delivered over 30 years later.

At least Duke still remembers Haven outside the shroud. It would have been a real struggle if he walked outside and forgot it like everyone else.

I was unclear…do they need her to create the thinnie in order to get the controller to build the barn, or can they start building the barn without her and then use it when she gets there? I admit it, once they announced they were going back in time, I kinda got wrapped up in the nostalgia factor and let myself enjoy it more than listening to the details. Whoops.

So what about you guys? Were you glad to go back in time again? Surprised the Colorado Kid mystery is wrapped up? What do you expect to happen before the series winds to a close? Chat with me, even if it's to tell me what I missed!

I'll be here again for Haven Season 5 Episode 21, "Close to Home," when Duke returns with Hayley and warns Nathan not to go through the thinnie into the Void because he pictured hell on earth when Nathan didn't come back out in a troubling vision. Nathan goes anyway and runs into William! That should be fun.

And don't forget, you can always watch Haven online if you need to catch up.

Audrey and Nathan are talking about what happens next, what they need from the void to build the barn. Saving the world, waiting for Duke to get back with Haley. He comes back.

Audrey is worried about Nathan going into he void because Charlotte's note said humans don't last long in the void, and she's not…

Dave is in jail for the murders.

Nathan can't believe nobody remembers Haven outside the fog. Nathan explains to Duke why he needs to go into the void. Duke thinks he's nuts, telling him about his vision. In the future, Haven was hell on earth all because Nathan went into the void and never came back. Croatoan won. He came back to stop Nathan from going into the void. Nathan says he needs to make sure he comes back, because he has to go.

Vince is updating troubles. He wants to try to find a Trouble that will allow them to cut Dave's tie with Croatoan. Dwight settles in to help.

Hayley turns out to be pretty good with her Trouble and creates a thinnie. Nathan goes through. Hayley will create another for him to return in two hours.

It's green in the void. For some reason, Nathan could see the thinnie, even though it was gone on the other side. Hmmm. It's barren there. How the hell will he find a controller? Does he even know what a controller is?

Duke is at the piano when Audrey returns. He says Hayley is impulsive and doesn't know how to control her Trouble. Audrey is angry with Duke because when she needed him, he walked away. He is angry for always being needed. If he had known why a member of the Colton family was needed, he wouldn't have come back.

A girl comes to see Duke. Everything she touches blows up. She's a little annoyed and even more so when she realizes Duke is immune to her. She decides to blow up the house.

Vince finds a reincarnation Trouble, the one that split Audrey and Mara into two people. He thinks if he splits Dave and Croatoan, he can just kill Croatoan.

Meanwhile, in the void, Nathan falls down into a pit and William finds him. Nathan tells him that Mara sent him to get the controller so they can battle Croatoan.

Just after Nathan finds the controller, someone who looks like Audrey appears by way of a very bright light with stark white hair and in a white gown. WTF?

Vince and Dwight take Dave to the Troubled guy. It's probably not the best idea after William noted Croatoan was in a safe place being inside of Dave. Oh.Dave just killed the guy. That was easy.

For some reason, Duke doesn't bother telling Troubled Lisa that he's back in town to save everyone or that there is an actual plan in motion to make things better.

When William answers White Girl's question incorrectly, she starts a countdown to destroy the controller. Nathan jumps in and tells White Girl that the barn was created to save Mara, so that she would recognize she is not evil and could be better, more like Audrey, in fact. He is the right person. She disappears.

William wonders why Nathan is talking about Mara in the past tense. A fight is underway and Hayley turns into a bad girl. She refuses to keep the doorway open. She doesn't want to lose the ability to do what she can do. Duh.

Hayley ditches the ring and walks through a fence and leaves. The thinnie closes and the void starts to crumble down upon Nathan and William.

William's arm is stuck and they're both stuck in the cave.
