When a wealthy but problematic alum comes to town, ready to give Cal U a significant donation, Aaron is tasked with convincing Andre and the Gammas to host the controversial figure.

It puts Aaron in a weird situation, but as you'll see in this Grown-ish Season 6 Episode 8 clip exclusive to TV Fanatic, Aaron won't be afraid to let his voice be heard.

As Grown-ish continues through its final season, the guest stars keep coming.

This installment will see series' creator Kenya Barris getting in on the action as he guest stars as the divisive alum in question, Derek Wright. And as you'll see in the clip below, there is quite a chill in the air when he steps to the mic.

It's a classic devil and angel moment for Aaron, the devil telling him to step in and the angel telling him to keep quiet.

To know Aaron is to know that he's a strong-willed man and he will stand up for the things he believes in.

But just what will he say to the packed crowd? And how will Derek and Dean Miller react?

Veteran actor Kadeem Hardison is back as the ever-expressive Dean Miller, and it's always lovely to see him show up on our television screens.

Grown-ish is often considered a modern-day A Different World, so it's fun to see those two worlds collide in a way when Mr. Hardison shows up!

Elsewhere, Sloane (played by recurring star Latto) and Doug enjoy some time together, but it doesn't appear they will be alone, as multi-platinum recording artist Omarion will be appearing during this episode and playing himself.

It's unclear what Omario will be getting up to, but everyone looks happy, especially Sloane, and we're excited to see how this plays out.

Alongside guest stars Kadeem Hardison, Latto, and Omarion, we'll also see Kelly Rowland back as Dr. Horne and Lil Yachty as Andre's frat brother Cole.

It promises to be another thought-provoking and hilarious installment, filled with exciting stars and storylines. It's everything we've come to expect from the groundbreaking sitcom.

Grown-ish Season 6 Episode 6 will tackle the ever-evolving gender roles discussion as it pertains to paying on a date, as Zaara finds herself wondering whether or not she’s even about to go on one, and TV Fanatic got an exclusive clip of the conversation!

Grown-ish has been in full swing during its farewell tour, always taking advantage of every opportunity to discuss important topics.

As you’ll see in this clip, the girls and the guys seem to have opposing views about who’s supposed to pay for those ever-important social outings.

You’ve got to love Zaara bringing up the “hetero cheat codes,” not exactly helping her figure out whether or not she and Drea are going on a date.

And again, who pays and who doesn’t is really a conversation to be had between the parties involved.

Whether one party pays or they split the bill evenly won’t automatically tell you if you’re on a date.

That’s a conversation they will have to have regardless of whose credit card goes down on the table.

As you saw during the clip, this episode will see recurring guest stars Lil Yachty as Andre’s frat brother Cole, Amelie Zilbler as Lauryn, and comedian Druski as fellow frat brother Brock.

And all have been worthwhile additions to the Grown-ish family.

We’ll also see the lovely Kelly Rowland as she engages with Aaron in the episode entitled “Savior Complex.”

As Aaron finds himself in an email battle with a colleague, he’ll land in Dr. Horne’s office. And that should be an interesting conversation!

Annika and Junior will also hit another speed bump, as Annika is over Andre’s white-knight routine.

Does Andre have a bit of a savior complex? These two will have a lot to hash out.

This season brings the heat regarding guest stars, with Kelly Rowland, Omarion, NLE Choppa, Latto, Lil Yachty, and Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals.

Following along with Junior's college adventures has been amazing, and he'll be back this season one year wiser and continuing to relish in the whirlwind adventure that is college life, which includes his relationship with Annika.

One of the biggest parts of the college experience is dating, and all that entails.

And as you'll see in this exclusive clip, Junior finds himself on the receiving end of an invitation from Annika that leaves him a little rattled.

Junior's continued maturation and transition from Zoey's little brother to a college man should make for a wonderful final season as the younger Johnson takes in all the college experience has to offer.

According to TV Line, Francia Raisa (Ana), Emily Arlook (Nomi), Chloe Bailey (Jazz), Luka Sabbat (Luca), Halle Bailey (Sky), and Jordan Buhat (Vivek) have all exited the Freeform comedy.

The announcement came on the same night the Grown-ish Season 4 finale played out, and thanks to the graduation-themed nature of it all, it's easier to understand the huge overhaul.

“Francia, Emily, Chloe, Halle, Luka and Jordan will always be a part of the -ish’ family. This new season isn’t a goodbye, we are just expanding the world; there will always be an open door for them to return,” said showrunners Zakiyyah Alexander and Courtney Lilly in a statement to TV Line.

“For Season 5, we’re excited to dive deeper into the storylines of Zoey, Aaron and Doug in their post-grad adventures and welcome a new dynamic class to Cal-U, including Junior.”

The series has always revolved around Zoey, thanks to it being a spinoff of black-ish, and given that the conclusion featured Zoey and Aaron making their way to New York.

Whether the series will remain in New York, we don't know, but time will tell.

The announcement also comes weeks after it was announced black-ish veteran Marcus Scribner would be relocating to the spinoff as Junior Johnson following the conclusion of the main show on ABC.

Trevor Jackson (Aaron) and Diggy Simmons (Doug) will all be back for the soft-reboot, which is likely to premiere on Freeform later this year.

Many of the departing cast members have exciting projects lined up, but it's unclear whether they could stage returns down the line.

It's hard to imagine Zoey, Aaron, and Doug forgetting about their friends!

TV Shows That Ended Too Soon

The cabler has renewed The Fosters spinoff, Good Trouble for Season 2 and Black-ish spinoff, Grown-ish for Season 3. 

Both renewals were announced during Freeform's turn at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. 

The cast of Good Trouble had no idea the show was being renewed so soon, so it came as a bit of a shock to them when network executives announced it.

Thirteen episodes have been ordered for Good Trouble Season 2. The series follows Callie and Mariana Adams-Foster as they embark on new lives in Los Angeles. 

Once there, they wind up living in a communal living space. It was a perfect way to bring in the rich storytelling viewers will recall from the original series. 

Good Trouble has not been the heavy hitter in the ratings the network was expecting. 

Through four episodes, the series is currently averaging just over 300,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the adults 18-49 demo.

These are based on live + same day metrics. Young-skewing series are more likely to pull in more viewers post-airdate, so it's expected that the series is building substantially. 

That being said, Good Trouble is way down from the final season of The Fosters, which averaged a sturdier 619,000 viewers and a 0.25 rating. 

As for Grown-ish, the show has shown stability in its second season. As such, the renewal was a no brainer. 

The series plays well on the DVR front, so that's a major positive. 

New episodes of Good Trouble air on Tuesdays, while new episodes of Grown-ish air Thursdays.
