Taylor Sheridan is obviously an egomaniac with too much success going to his head. His list of “spin-offs” is initially impressive but I can see that he is the type of person that cannot handle success. Like the saying goes, he woke up on third base and thinks he hit a triple. I can see he has some experience in many segments of life but this experience is quite superficial. For example, his new show “Landman” is full of inaccuracies about work life in the oil patch. No worker would screw up the use of a simple pipe wrench like is depicted here. They are laughing there asses off right now – at Sheridan.

Very good point! If he cared as much about the cowboy way of life as he says he does, then he would have given his screen time to the cowboys who are now seeing their livelihood disappear. Was there even a single mention about how the sale affected them? I sure don’t recall watching that.

Sheridan doesn’t need to quit his day job. He is a very talented horseman/entertainer however, he needs to leave the acting to others. The amount of time spent on him was considered a “waste of time”, by the folks sitting on the couch watching. It added no value to the storyline at all. As a matter of fact, we would have preferred to see more from the other actors that barely got screentime at all. The death of John Dutton effected all of them deeply , most of them have brands on their chests. This was just cast aside like it meant nothing. No screentime at all. I know Sheridan just wants this to be over, so he can move on…… But…..so far he has done a piss poor job of giving Yellowstone, the ending it deserves. I am sure the last episode will be explosive and attention grabbing… But these previous episodes are so mediocre….however I have to commend the actors for taking mediocre writing and still creating magical moments , those actors are amazing.
