The Mentalist stars Simon Baker in the main role.
He stars as Patrick Jane, an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Jane possess an impressive track record for solving serious crimes by using his unusually sharp skills of observation.
Within the Bureau, Jane is known for his lack of protocol, along his quasi-celebrity past as a psychic medium, whose paranormal abilities he now admits he faked. Jane often runs into opposition in the form of Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon.
