The Gates is sort of like Desperate Housewives meets The Stepford Wives Meets Twilight.
It focuses on a private mountain community known as The Gates. The stereotype of perfect suburban bliss? Sort of. Each street is lined with gorgeous homes, trees and landscapes.
But there’s something haunting and mysterious about the area, as the Monahans discover. They are the focus of the series, having recently uprooted from Chicago.
